How can I see job openings on site?

You can job openings on site by three ways : 

1.By Category : On the Home Page in the middle you will find the heading Job Search By Category with various categories as hyperlink. Click on the link which suits you and it will give you the result searched on that category. You can also click on by category link on the left side of home page under hot job. You get a new page which contains all the categories, you select the one which you want and submit to get the result.

2.By Segment : To see job openings by segment, Click on by Segment link on the left side of home page under hot job right below by Category. You get a new page which contains all the segments, you select the one which you want and submit to get the result.

3.By Location : You can also see the job openings by location, Click on by Location link on the left side of home page under hot job right below by Segment. You get a new page which contains all the space for entering the location. Enter the location and press the submit, to get the result. Be careful about the spellings of the city you entered as if it contains errors then the result may not come.

 Now, you will get the listing of all the jobs presently available with us. In the right end of the record a button Full Display is present, click on it to see the details of the respective job. You will get the new screen containing the complete information of the vacancy. The two buttons given below in the page can be used to apply against the job by you.

I am facing login problem. What am I doing wrong?

Invalid password
Unable to login? All you are getting is an Authorization failed message? Well, don't worry, the most commonly encountered problem is our system's case sensitivity. The problem may be with your password. To login, click under the Job Seeker on the respective link on home page, remember that your password is case sensitive, meaning "xyz" is not the same as "XYZ". Finally, make sure you are registered and you are logging in as a registered user.

How do I submit my Resume?

Posting your resume is critical to your successfully landing a job. Without your resume on the site corporate employers won't be able to gauge you as a candidate. On the other hand, if your resume is there and meets their requirements then you are likely to be called for an interview, and maybe recruited. For submitting your resume, please go as per the following steps:

Step I: On home page, under Job Seeker click on Submit Resume.

Step II: A form will open. Please read the instructions before filling the it.

Step III: Fill the required information in text boxes such as name, address etc & choose the valid choice from the popup wherever applicable.

Step IV: After filling the form paste your Text Resume in the Text Area given for it & fill your password.

Step V: Then click on the submit button.

Step VI: After clicking on the submit button please wait for some time so that you get your registration number and password. They are needed to view/update your profile whenever you want.

 How do I register against Omam's advertisement?

Want to register against our advertisement in media or Hot Jobs.  If you are not registered with Omam then first register yourself as per process given in previous query, get your registration number and then come here. The steps are as follows for  :

Step I: On home page, under JOB SEEKER click on Apply against Advt.

Step II: A form will open.

Step III: Fill in the advertisement number and your registration number and press the  submit button.

Step IV: You will get the confirmation from Omam at the same time.

How can I see my profile?

To see your profile, on home page under Job Seeker click on Display Resume a form will open, fill in your Registration Number and Password and press the submit button. Your Profile will be opened.

How can I take print of my profile?

To get a printout of your profile first retrieve your profile with the help of the process mentioned in previous question than  on your browser's toolbar go to File -> print, and you will get the  printout of your profile for your reference. Please make it sure that the printer is connected with the computer and it is turned on.

How can I change/update my profile?

For updating your profile, please go as per the following steps:

Step I: On home page, under Job Seeker click on Edit Resume link.

Step II: Please fill in your login id (registration number) and password. Press the submit button and wait to view your resume.

Step III: Make changes you want and press the submit button.

Step IV: Wait for confirmation. Your registration number and password will be shown to you.

Step IV: Now you will be asked whether you want to  update your text resume, click on the button below and update your text resume as when you update your resume you will always want to update your text resume also. After submission wait for confirmation. Your registration number and password will be shown to you again.

How can I change my password?

On the home page under Job Seeker click on Change Password and in new page fill the Registration number, Old (current) password and the new password in three boxes separately and press the submit button. You will see a new screen which will inform you after changing your password.

How can I report for links which return error or are not found?

If you get an error message of "Server not found " please wait or come back a little later. It might be possibly be the Server problem. If the problem persists than please mail us at webmaster@omamconsultants.com
